Vyaasas

It is known that Vyasa wrote the Mahabharata. But he wrote many more along with that Mahabharata. Many Vedas and Upanishads have all been given to us to impart knowledge. Vyasa's real name is Krishnadvaipayana.  He got the name Vedavyasa because he divided the Vedas.

We all know that Vyasa was born to Satyavati and Parashar. He is said to have been born as an element of Sri Maha Vishnu. But what is surprising is that the Dwaparayuga with Krishnadvaipaya is the 28th Dwaparayuga. That is,  Krishnadvaipaya is the 28th Vedavyasa. A holy book named "Devi Bhagavatam" states that we are now in the 28th Kaliyuga. Evidently, 27 cycles of Chaturyugas (4 Yugas together form a Chaturyuga) are completedThis is the Kali Yuga of the 28th Chaturyuga.

Well, the Vyasas from the earlier chaturyugas are as follows:

1.Swayambhuva in the first Dwapara era.

2. Prajapati in the second Dwapara era

3. Ushanasudu in the third  Dwapara era.

4. Brihaspati in the fourth Dwapara era.

5. Savita (Sun) in the Fifth Dwapara era.

6. Mruthyuvu in the Sixth Dwapara era.

7. Maghavudu in the seventh Dwapara era.

8. Vashistha in the eighth Dwapara era.

9. Saaraswati in the Ninth Dwapara era.

10. Tridhamudu in the tenth Dwapara era.

11. Trivrushudu in the eleventh Dwapara era.

12. Bhardwaj in the twelfth Dwapara era.

13. Anthariksha in the Thirteenth Dwapara era.

14. Dharma in the fourteenth Dwapara era.

15. Thriyaruni in the Fifteenth Dwapara era.

16. Dhananjaya in the sixteenth Dwapara era.

17. Medhatidhi in the seventeenth Dwapara era.

18. Vrati in the Eighteenth Dwapara era.

19. Atri in the nineteenth Dwapara era.

20. Gautama in the twentieth Dwapara era.

21. Uthama in the twenty-first Dwapara era.

22. Venu in the twenty-second Dwapara era.

23. Soma in the twenty- third Dwapara era.

24. Trunabindu in the Twenty-fourth Dwapara era.

25. Bharghava in the twenty-fifth Dwapara era.

26. Shakthi in the Twenty-sixth Dwapara era.

27. Jatukarnyu  in the Twenty-Seventh Dwapara era.

28. Krisnadvaipaya  in the Twenty-Eigth (current) Dwapara era.

Thus in every Dwaparayuga, Lord Vishnu is born as Vyasa. For the people of Kali Yuga these vedas are given a written formThis is how the knowledge of our ancestors was given to us in the form of writing. But today we are referring the same immense knowledge and sciences of our Vedas as superstitions.

But we ignore the fact that those very ancestors invented zero. Those very ancestors said that the nine planets revolved around the sun. Our ancestors even calculated the value of Pi. They tried to pass on the immense knowledge in the form of Vedas. May our ancient Vedas and the knowledge it brings raise to glory!!!

One of the many stories comes to an end!!

Thanks for reading!!!
